Historic Downtown Kingman
Downtown Kingman is quite the scene, as it features historic buildings that are in the National Register of Historic Places. There are many shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and live shows downtown, that offer that small town feel with big city-style events and activities.
Since Kingman is located in the midst of stunning desert landscape, you are guaranteed some beautiful and fun hikes. Many people enjoy going to Cerbat Foothills Recreation Center, which has 19 miles of trails. Camping and hiking around the 2,300-acre Hualapai Mountain Park. Really there is no limit to the amount of desert beauty you will find here. There are thousands of acres of captivating desert landscape.
Get Spooked – Chloride Ghost Town
Just a half-hour north of Kingman is Chloride, a little ghost town that offers up lots of fun and is rich in wild west history. This ghost town will take you back to the old frontier, as you experience storefronts, old homes and maybe even a cowboy or two!

This is probably the most obvious as Kingman is known to be the heart of the Scenic Highway 66 route. Take a day road trip on the all American road. Experience spectacular views and make some good memories as you travel one of the most famous roads in America.
